Hey guys, for some time now I see that all the newcomers both to the forums and to UT3 Mapping just jump straight to the forums and post topics asking "Where to start?". Guys, please visit the tutorial section, it has everything to get you started right there within the grasp of your hands. They will teach you the necessities in order to start mapping. Another good source are the video tutorials, but they are shortly offline, I just uploaded the first series of Videos onto my website (for my team to watch), and I decided to make them available for download for you guys, temporarily, until we get the ones on this site going. So here you go, this should get anybody started.

001 - Introduction
002 - General Workflow
003 - Basic Level Pt. 1
004 - Basic Level Pt. 2
005 - Basic Level Pt. 3
006 - Key Concepts - Brushes
007 - Key Concepts - Building
008 - Key Concepts - Actors
009 - Key Concepts - Widgets
010 - Key Concepts - Snapping

Same videos, the ones that are down, or atleast the first part of them.

Skybox is basically a dome with a texture on, making the texture is the hard part however hazel whorley made some amazing skyboxes you can get the idea from,

Why not just put these up on Youtube?  The big ones just need to be broken into 10:00 parts.
